June 20, 1965 - August 11, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Paolo Augello in Orleans Ontario at the tender age of 56. Paolo was blessed to leave this earth Wednesday morning, August 11th, while at home surrounded by his beautiful family. He was a man with an infectious laugh and a wonderful sense of humour. His wittiness stayed with him leading into his last days through the pain his fragile body was experiencing. In his calls, he was quick to respond with "I'm fine, please don't worry". He was a friend to all who knew him. This is a testament to all of the phone calls he received from close and long lost friends. Paolo was predeceased by his father in law Salvatore Pietrantonio, numerous aunts uncles and cousins in Sicily. Paolo leaves behind his loving wife Anna (Pietrantonio), his two adoring children, Olivia Augello and Paolo Augello Jr., all of Orleans, Ontario. His beloved mother Assunta Augello, mother in law Maria (Pietrantonio), brother in law Achille (Pietrantonio), sister Maria (Rob) Castonguay and brother Tony (Michelle) Augello. He was truly loved by his nieces and nephews; Stephen (Castonguay), Dana (Jadran) Beljo, Amy Augello, Rebecca and Owen Hicks, Milo Augello and the newest addition to the family, Paulina and Henrik Beljo. He will be missed as much as he was loved by numerous cousins in Italy as well. Sleep well Paolo you will forever be in our hearts. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 17th in Orleans, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations can be we made to the Canadian Cancer Society and Victoria's Quilts Canada.
