After being employed with Timmins Northland Monuments and Stephens Funeral Home for 10 years, he pursued his studies in the Funeral Service Education Program at Humber College. He graduated in 1990. He then returned to Timmins to work as a fully qualified funeral director for Stephens Funeral Home. Interested in owning and operating the firm, Michel entered partnership, in 1994, with Mr. John Stephens. In 1999, Michel and Lynne became owners of what is now Maison funéraire Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home. He and Lynne are the proud parents of their two sons, Jacob and Alex. Michel continually strives at making sure every family they serve receives the highest standards of care and professionalism. |
Lynne Carrière Lessard, Bilingual Aftercare Services Coordinator Email: lessardl@ntl.sympatico.ca Office Phone: 705-268-4440 Lynne was born and raised in Timmins. She became partners of the funeral home with Michel in 1999. Lynne created Aftercare Services, in order to provide grief education and individualized support to the families they serve and those of the community, who have experienced a loss. Her professional and gentle approach with children and adults is based on the knowledge and skills she has acquired through her many educational and work experiences. She is a certified Grief Consultant, Meditation Teacher, Reiki Practitioner, Teacher and Child and Youth Worker. Lynne and Michel are the proud parents of their two sons. |

He completed the French Funeral Service Education Program at Collège Boréal in 1996. During his first years as a licensed funeral director, Randy gained valuable experience working at several funeral homes in Northern Ontario. He went on to accept a position as Managing Funeral Director at Génier Gauthier Funeral Home in Cochrane for a period of three years. Randy returned to his hometown in 2001, where he then joined the Maison funéraire Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home team. He is the proud father of his two children. Randy's wide array of experiences in the field, along with his calm disposition, have made him a committed, resourceful and compassionate funeral director. |

She graduated from the French Funeral Service Education Program at Collège Boréal in 2009. She volunteers her time with the Canadian Red Cross - Timmins Branch. Lorne joined the funeral home on a part-time basis in 1986. His community involvement includes being a member of the Porcupine Dante Club, the Holy Name Society and of the Knights of Columbus, Council 2403. He is also a long-time member of Sacred Heart Church. Lorne’s vast experience with the funeral home, along with his pleasant approach, are definite assets to our firm. |
Jacob Lessard, Funeral Assistant Jacob was born in Timmins. He graduated from école secondaire Thériault in 2016. He is currently attending Laurentian University.
