It is with great sorrow that the family announces the sudden passing of Richard Naveau on Saturday December 28, 2019 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 63 years. Loving partner to Jane Luke (and her children). He will be greatly missed by his loving fur babies Lucky and Pepper. Dear brother to his twin sister Gladys Naveau-Naponse (Francis). He also leaves behind his best friend Kaleb and best chum Betty Naveau. Richard is predeceased by his parents Stanley and Beatrice, his brothers Edmund, Cecil, Wallace (Jackie) and his sisters Charlotte and Doreen Naveau. For everyone that knew Richard, he was a jack of all trades and a great mentor to many. He had a passion for hunting, trapping, fishing and music. He was a great mechanic and was very artistic. Richard was an amazing, funny and awesome relative and friend. He will always be remembered for his big loving and caring heart. A funeral service will be held on Saturday January 4th, 2020 at Mattagami First Nation Community Complex at 1p.m. Family and friends are welcomed for a visitation on January 3rd, 2020 at 1p.m. at Mattagami First Nation Community Complex. Remembrance donations to the Timmins Food Bank would be greatly appreciated.
