Anne Taught me to Ski
Hi Barb: So sorry to hear about your Mom. She was an amazing, beautiful and gracious lady who knew how to enjoy life. When Mark and I moved to Timmins in our 20s we wanted to do something fun outside to enjoy the winter. Mark and our friends already knew how to ski so I had to learn or stay home (which I wasn't going to do!) Every Saturday, for the first winter, your Mom gave me private lessons. Anne was a patient, encouraging teacher and by the March Break, I was able to go on the ski trip to Mont Tremblat and keep up with group. Thanks to her, I still love skiing. When I go to Banff in 2 weeks, I will remember her. Love Janice
