Obituary for Patt Gignac
It is with great sadness that the family of Patt Gignac announces his sudden passing on January 27, 2018, at the young age of 44.
Patt touched the lives of many with his sense of humour and kind heart. He lived his life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting and spending time with family and friends, fishing and jamming out to good music. Above all, he will be remembered for his ‘can-do’, ‘get-er-done’ attitude and his love for the outdoors (fishing specifically).
Predeceased by his loving father Raymond Gignac and survived by his loving mother Paulette Gignac. Patt will be forever loved and remembered by his dear friend Tracy and their daughters Ashley and Maggie, by his sisters Thérèse (Mike), Michelle (Ronald), his brother Paul Gignac and his good friend, Chantale. Patt will also be remembered by his many aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, godson Alain and dear friends.
Memorial service will be held in Patt’s hometown of Gogama on Saturday, February 3, at 12 p.m., at Paroisse Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 3 from 10 am to 12 pm at Paroisse Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire.
Donations made to Mattagami First Nation will be greatly appreciated.
Funeral and cremation services have been entrusted to Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home (705)268-4488.
