Obituary for Krystyna Zamaro (Wieczorek )

Krystyna Zamaro (Wieczorek )
It is with heavy hearts that we announce her passing at the Timmins and District hospital on Friday December 26, 2017 at the age of 94.

Beloved wife of the late Edward Zamaro and cherished mother of Edward Zamaro Jr.
Dear sister of Henryka Etynkowski (late Henryk).

Predeceased by her parents Andrzej and Helena Wieczorek, her brothers Jerzy Wieczorek, Jozef Wieczorek (late Helena), Stanislaw Wieczorek (late Stanislawa), Bogumil Wieczorek (late Barbara) and Czeslaw Wieczorek (Zofia) and by her sisters Genowefa Potrzebska (late Wladyslaw) and Maria Swiczak (late Jerzy).

She will be missed by many nephews and nieces in the U.S.A. and Poland.

Krystyna was born on April 25, 1923 in Wloclawek, Poland. She was a veteran of the armed forces in Poland and was also in the forced labour camp under the German Regime in Germany.

Krystyna was a very hard worker. She loved planting flowers in her yard and also loved planting vegetables in her garden. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother; she will be sadly missed by her loving son.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses in medical B for looking after Krystyna. Thank you to the doctors and nurses of the hospice unit at the Timmins and District Hospital for all their care and compassion. Special thank you to Bill Pigeon and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 88 Timmins.

Rest in peace mom. No more pain and now you’re with the Lord. I will love you forever.

Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday January 5, 2018 in the funeral home chapel.
The family will receive friends on Thursday January 4 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at
LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated.
