Condolence: I was extremely fortunate to be in Mr. Venner's homeroom, Frontenac 107, way back in the late 1970's.
It is impossible to think about Mr. Venner without fond memories.
His warm welcome, humour and kindness started my school days off in such a positive way. This was no easy task in our less traditional classroom of the auto shop homeroom that was combined with students from grades 9 to 12.
I will always be grateful for having had the privilege of Mr. Venner as a wonderful mentor in high school. It has been several decades since high school ended for me yet my memories of his kindness, humour and leadership as a teacher at RMSS always make me smile and be grateful for having been one of his homeroom students.
