Obituary for Vernon Smith
The family announces with sorrow his passing on Friday October 20, 2017 at Extendicare Timmins at the age of 96. He is survived by his wife Gladys Smith (nee-Irving), his children Noreen (Lenny), Howard, Colleen (David) and Arnold (Deborah), his grandchildren Jonathan, Michael, Kyle, Adam and Colin, his sister Freida McLeod and by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Garth and Lloyd and by his sisters Velma and Myrna. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday October 25, 2017 at 2pm at the Covenant United Church, 230 Eight Ave. Timmins. Remembrance donations to the Covenant United Church would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME.
