Arthur   Constant Sr.
Passed away peacefully on Monday May 29, 2017 in the Hospice section of the Timmins and District Hospital, at the age of 70.
Beloved husband of Joyce Constant (nee Luke).
Loving father of Ronald Constant (Pauline) of Sault Ste. Marie, Christopher Constant (Joanne) of Mattagami First Nation, Jennifer Constant (Keboy) of Mattagami First Nation and Arthur Constant Jr. of Timmins.
Dear grandfather of Sydney, Garren, Kiara, Braedan, Ziibee, Gabrielle and great-grandfather of Delilah.
He is survived by his siblings Marcel (Linda) of Quebec, Fernand of Gogama, Irene Lamontagne (Henry) of Gogama, Paulette Gignac (late Raymond) of Gogama, Yvon of Gogama, Claude of Gogama, Gisele Evanush (Robert) of Bonfield, Nicole Constant (Rick) of Gogama, Estelle Constantin (Marc) of Gogama and Françoise Constant of Gogama.
Arthur is survived by a very large and caring family.
Predeceased by his parents Armand and Georgette (nee Gravelle), his brother Ronald and sister Claudette Free.
He was a hardworking man that spent many years working for the following companies; E.B. Eddy, CN Rail, IAMGOLD and Camp Arowhon (located in Algonquin Park).
The family would like to send a big thank you to their family, friends and the Mattagami First Nation Band office for its support. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Doctors and the Hospice Centre Staff for their care and compassion.

The celebration of Arthur’s life will begin with a memorial service on Thursday June 1, 2017 at 11 am at the Mattagami First Nation Community Complex. The service will be followed by the family greeting friends and community members.
