Obituary for Gail Joyce Villeneuve
The family announces with great sorrow the passing of Gail Villeneuve on November 22, 2016 at the age of 73, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband, Philippe Villeneuve. Loving mother of Michel (Louise) Villeneuve, Phil (Patsy) Villeneuve, Paul (Carolyn) Villeneuve, and Marc (Dominique) Villeneuve. Survived by sisters, Shirley Prest (late Frank Prest) and Joan (Maurice) Nadon. She will be forever missed by her grandchildren Matthew (Pamela) Villeneuve, Meghan Villeneuve (Brian Renaud), Marcel Villeneuve (Shannon Boehk), Cynthia Villeneuve (Brett Bielaski), Samuel Giguere, Scott (Cyndee) Villeneuve, Melissa Villeneuve (Jon Gerard), Steven Desjardins (Jennifer Robichaud), and Kayla Villeneuve. She will also be missed by numerous nephews, nieces, great-grandchildren and dear friend, Michele Shumilak. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Bernice Osmars.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday November 26, 2016 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel with Msgr Pat Lafleur officiating. Interment at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. A reception to follow in the Lessard-Stephens Reception Centre. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Daffodil Lodge would be greatly appreciated.
