Obituary for Francis P. (Frank) Dolan
The family announces with great sorrow Frank’s passing on Monday October 17, 2016 at Extendicare Timmins at the age of 91 years. Frank was a dedicated and successful scholar and acquired many college and university degrees which included teaching and nursing. Throughout his lifetime he worked in many regions of Ontario and for some time in the U.S. Frank was a faithful Christian and is now in the presence of his Lord and Saviour. His greatest joy in life was his beloved wife Lois. Predeceased by his parents Edythe and Philip Dolan, his loving wife Lois F. Dolan (Nee Youmans) in 2014 and Lois’ grandchildren Lucie (2009) and Matthieu (2003). He is survived by Lois’ eight children and his church family and friends. The family wishes to thank the nursing department and staff at Extendicare for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends for a memorial service held in Frank’s memory on Monday October 31, 2016 at 11 am at Lessard-Stephens Reception Centre with Mr. Dave Jenkinson officiating. Remembrance donations can be made to Harmony House, Porcupine Mall.
