Passed away peacefully on October 03, 2016.
I am survived by my loving husband of over 42 years Jacques (Jack) Lessard and my son Shawn Lessard (Natalie). Precious granddaughter Charlee Lessard and loving step-grandson Joshua Guinard. Siblings: Colette Proulx, Elaine Chorney, Suzanne Slobodian (Rick) and Ronald Bouchard (Tarja). Nieces and nephews: Mike, Marc and Christine Proulx / Diane, Danny, Susan and Debbie Chorney / Jessica and Katrina Bouchard / Patrick and Josee Belanger, Roxanne Richer / Sarah, Joel and Natalie Moisan / Valene Calvin. In-laws: Lucille Lessard (mother-in-law), Normand Lessard, Roch Lessard (Suzanne), Louise Belanger (Rheal), Liliane Richer(Alain), Maurice Lessard (Narcyza), Jo-Anne Lessard and Denise Joliat (Joe). Pre-deceased by my parents: Romeo (2002) and Yvette (2005) Bouchard, father-in-law Jean-Paul Lessard (2003) and brothers-in-law Jean Marc Lessard (1968), Dan Chorney (2010) and Louis Proulx (2016). I worked at the Timmins Public Library as a student for four years and full-time for nine and half years. I then became a stay at home mom raising my son Shawn and helping my aging parents for many years. I enjoyed travelling with my husband Jack, spending time with my family and friends and my precious granddaughter Charlee. Sewing, knitting and jewellery making were my pastime activities. I leave behind to remember me many good neighbours and friends. Special friends Lisa and Percy Ahern, Liliane and Ghislain Lemire. High school dinner girlfriends Jo-Anne Beaulieu and Diane Riopel. Thank you to family, friends and neighbours for lending emotional and physical support to my husband Jack. Special thank you to the Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) for all the at home services provided to me. Case Managers Kari and Nancy, Bay Shore nurses Evelyn, Liz and Natalie, nurse practitioner Marnie Chisolm, occupational therapist Trevor and dietician Lorna. Special thanks to Dr. Jonathan Noble and his nurse assistant Kim, to the Timmins Hospital Oncology Department, to Dr. Daniel Kelly and Dr. Eric Paquette. In keeping with my wishes there will be No Visitation and No Funeral Service. Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial gathering and luncheon will be held at a later date.
