The family announces with great sorrow his death on Saturday November 28, 2015 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 69 years. Dear husband of the late Patricia Nielsen (née-Bisson) in 2010. Loving father of Bert (Natalie) Nielsen of Timmins, Constance McKnight of Welland, Penny Tran (Tom) of Timmins, Sherri (late Denis) Millette of Matheson and Loriann Nielsen of Timmins; loving grandfather of Caleb, Sarah and Jessie Nielsen, Ken Nielsen (Emily), Christopher and Kyle McKnight, Justin Tran (Tammy), Randi Tran, Patricia, Jean-Paul, Aaron and Steven Millette, Kariann and Stephanie Lecerf and Megan Thurlow; great-grandfather of Hailey, Jackson and Nathan; dear brother of Lynda (Bill) Hazelwood, Barbara Nielsen (Micheal), Dorry Nielsen, late Ricky (Audrey) Nielsen, late Billy (Jane) Nielsen, late Peter (Betty) Nielsen, late Donna (Gordon) Wallingford and late Suzanne Nielsen.
Survived by his cousins Barry and Marilyn McInnins and by his in-laws Catherine (Gerry) Gervais, Donna (Rober) Campbell, Lynda (Gerry) Martel, Brenda (Julien) Savard, Gordon (Carole) Bisson and Ann (Don) Dysart. Randy will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Bert Nielsen and Mona Nielsen (nee-McInnis). Randy will be remembered for his endless love of playing cards with family and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive close family and friends on Sunday December 6, 2015 from noon until 4 pm at Bert and Natalie’s home, 1705 Kraft Creek Road, Timmins. Funeral arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted with
