Gordon Elliott
The family announces with sorrow his passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Thursday December 30, 2010 at the age of 57 years. Loving husband of Tammie Swain. Beloved son of Dorothy and the late John (1996) Elliott. Dear brother of Ken (Sandy) of Timmins, Stephen (Evelyn) of Toronto, Peter (Denise) of Thunder Bay, Marjorie (Jim) Nawroski of Timmins, Donna (Don) Evans of Sudbury, Barry (Carolin) of Timmins, Michael of Calgary, Tim (Paula) of Sudbury and Kevin (Nancy) of Timmins. Brother in law of Arlene (Dave) McCarthy, ,Kelly, Fran and Jodi. Survived by his uncle Tom Wilkins and his aunt Mina Lockhart and their families. Predeceased by his brothers Bruce (1983) and Jeffrey (2001), his niece Nadine (1985). He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Gordy had a zest for life always happy and putting a smile on everyone’s face around him, he loved greeting everyone with a smile and a wave as they passed by the corner of Jubilee and Maclean Drive. Gordy was a very proud and dedicated carrier of the Timmins Daily Press. All of your family, friends and friendly neighbours will truly miss you and the smile you brought to our faces. A funeral Service will be held on Tuesday January 4, 2011 at 11 am in the Lessard- Stephens Funeral Home Chapel. Remembrance donations to the Special Olympics or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
