Passed away at the Extendicare Nursing Home on the morning of August 9th, 2018, at the age of 97.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Nicholas Skrtic (1972) and her loving son John Skrtic (2009).
She is survived by her grandson Nicholas Skrtic (Sam) of Porcupine, her step-granddaughter Lindsay Paradis of Sudbury, her great-grandchildren Sidney and Jake Skrtic.
Also survived by her care givers and very dear friends Micky and Darlene Cyr.
Magdalena and Micky had much respect for one another and their relationship evolved into a mother and son kind of friendship.
Micky was always available to assist Magdalena after her son John had passed away.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Maria and Ivan Volovic, brothers Franjo, Josip, Nikola, Albert and her sisters Barbara Bahoric, Maria Zunic and Anka Volovic.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery.
