My sympathy is extended to you Christy, and other members of your family for the loss of your much beloved husband. May the pleasant memories of all those times you spent in his company bring you some comfort and solace in the days, months, and years that lie ahead. I’m sure the many photos from times spent together at family events– all those things you closely associate with him- will always pop into your mind, so as each day goes by, you’ll find that he may be out of sight but he’ll definitely live on forever not only in your reminiscences but also in your hearts. I’ll be keeping you and all your family members in my prayers.

Condolence: Sad to hear about the passing of a good man and old friend who was also a close personal friend of my late brother Norm. Vasco exuded warmth and in my experience made everyone want to be Italian. May he rest in peace.

Condolence: Dear Christy, Marisa and family
Along with Vasco, we were part of the 20 new teachers who came to TH&VS in 1969 and we quickly became great friends for life. His caring and compassionate manner, a love for life and a "get it done attitude" made him a favorite with everyone he met. Vasco will be remembered fondly by the TH&VS students and colleagues who were fortunate enough to know him.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Vasco's passing. I had the absolute privilege of having Vasco as my high school coach where he taught boys to men. Some ten years later I got to teach with Vasco at TH&VS. Vasco had an absolute gift when it came to dealing with students and to many of them, he was a father figure as well. He kept many students in school to ensure they'd graduate. He was such a great teacher and he truly made a difference. He will certainly be missed by many.

Condolence: Dear Christy, Marisa and family,
We were so sorry to hear of Vasco's death. We recall so many visits you had with Jay and Norma and got to know all of you when you came down to Reaboro. Jim remembers the day that he, Vasco, your dad and Russ Sutton all went fishing on Lake Ontario. The lake was pretty calm so Vasco lit up a cigar. After a while, he looked a little pale and said 'I don't feel so good now' and became a little queasy, he didn't throw up but came close. We had such a great day drowning bait and telling stories! It's those types of memories and the times he strolled across the road to have a chat that we will always remember about him.

Condolence: To the family. I am so very saddened to hear the news of Mr. Ciotti passing. I was just yesterday speaking to my daughter about him and how wonderful teachers have such a profound impact on their students. A wonderful man. May memories bring you comfort at this sorrowful time.
