1928 – 2018
It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Thursday, June 28, 2018. At the age of 90 years, she took her last peaceful breath and we lost a very special person in our lives; she was a wonderful mom and an amazing grandmother. Survived by her children, first born Jacques (late Michelle), Normand, Roch (Susanne), Louise Belanger (Rheal), Lilianne Richer (Alain), Maurice (Narcyza), Jo-Anne Lessard and Denise Joliat (Joe). Loving grandmother of Valene, Patrick (Tanya), Shawn (Natalie), Josee, Roxanne, Sarah (Richard), Joel, and Natalie; great grandmother of Joshua, Charlee, Oscar, Molly and Spencer. Also survived by her siblings Jackie Auger (Leo), Aline Sarazin (Herve), Marielle Mitchell (Mitch) and her sister-in-law Yolande Lefebvre (Jean-Guy).
Predeceased by her loving husband Jean Paul Lessard (Oct. 2003), her son Jean-Marc (Aug. 1968), her parents Josepha and Christine Lefebvre, her brothers Rheal (Claudette), Jean-Guy (Yolande), and Gilbert, her brother-in-law Leo Auger (Jackie), and daughter- in- law Michelle (Jacques) Lessard. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Timmins District Hospital and the Hospice staff for their care and kindness to our mother. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and no visitation and no funeral service will be held. Over the years many friends and acquaintances have been made and our family would like to extend a warm welcome and invite you all to the memorial talk on Saturday, June 30th, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1340 McLean Drive, Timmins, Ontario. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted with LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME. En prenant son dernier soupir paisible à l’âge de 90 ans, nous avons perdu une personne très spéciale dans notre vie. Elle était une maman formidable et une grand-maman exceptionnelle. Survécue par ses enfants, premier né Jacques (feue Michelle), Normand, Roch (Susanne), Louise Belanger (Rheal), Lilianne Richer (Alain), Maurice (Narcyza), Jo-Anne Lessard et Denise Joliat (Joe). Chère grand-maman de Valene, Patrick (Tanya), Shawn (Natalie), Josee, Roxanne, Sarah (Richard), Joel, et Natalie; arrière-grand-maman de Joshua, Charlee, Oscar, Molly et Spencer. Aussi survécue par frères et ses soeurs Jackie Auger (Leo), Aline Sarazin (Herve), Marielle Mitchell (Mitch) et sa belle-soeur Yolande Lefebvre (Jean-Guy).
Prédécédée par son cher époux Jean Paul Lessard (octobre 2003), son fils Jean-Marc (août 1968), ses parents Josepha et Christine Lefebvre, ses frères Rheal (Claudette), Jean-Guy (Yolande), et Gilbert, son beau-frère Leo Auger (Jackie), et sa brue Michelle (Jacques) Lessard. La famille désire remercier le personnel de l’hôpital de Timmins et du district et de l’hospice pour leurs soins attentionnés et leur gentillesse envers leur maman. En respectant ses désirs, l’incinération aura lieu, sans de visites ou de funérailles. Il y a plusieurs amitiés et connaissances qui se sont formées au courant des années; notre famille vous invite chaleureusement à un rassemblement mémorial le samedi 30 juin 2018 à 14h au Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1340, promenade McLean, Timmins, Ontario.
