Obituary for Ben Portugie
Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 64.
He is survived by his loving partner and best friend Rachel Lepage and his special granddaughter Antonia Sangiuliano,
His adoring family Domenic Sangiuliano (Sharon), Tony Sangiuliano (Joanne), Anna Tyson (Shawn), and all his grandchildren who were very special to him Zabrina (Corey), Breanna, Chandler, Ethan and Carter.
Sadly missed by sister Diane St-Arnaud, brothers Alan Portugie (Heather), Brian Portugie (Elizabeth), brother in law Bruce Lepage (Tammy), sister in law Shirley Shepherd (Ralph) and many nieces,nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Herbert and Orience Portugie and special grandson Justin Sangiuliano.
He was well respected in the trucking industry for his many years of driving. An avid fisherman who loved camping with his family and friends. As riding his Harley was one of his greatest passions, he will be remembered by all his brothers on the road, especially his best friend Rocky Fortin (Noella).
Special thanks to Dr. Nick Kanya Forster and the palliative care team, nurses Liz Fieldman, Marnie Chisholm.
Cremation will take place.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Lessard-Stephens Funeral home.
