The family announces with sorrow her passing at the Extendicare on Friday June 1, 2018, at the age of 86.
Predeceased by her husband Hans (Johann) Bauer (Sept. 30, 2008).
Loving mother of Walter Bauer (Viktoria) of Prince Edward County, Linda Bauer of Timmins and Beverly Bauer Hedican (Kevin) of Timmins.
Dear grandmother of Donald and Keith, of Prince Edward County, Valerie of Kazakhstan and Krista (Jeff Chisholm) of Timmins.
She is survived by her sister Ingrid Charette (late Johnny) of Timmins and daughter-in-law Helen Doner of Richmond Hill.
Dear aunt of Anne Marie Guest (John), Glenn Hentschel (Anne), Tracy Charette (Andy), Debbie Scobie (Bill), Carrie Chan (Richard), Johann Laimer (Chihya), Renate Breinlinger (Steven), of Austria and Johnny Remsu (Nina) of Finland.
Predeceased by her sister Mae Hentschel (Gerry).
The family would like to thank the Extendicare staff, especially Pearl Lake Ward.
She had a passion for volunteering, gardening and walking, but her family always came first.
Respecting her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
