The family announces with sorrow his passing on Saturday May 5, 2018 at the Timmins and District Hospital, at the age of 81.
Beloved husband of 55 years to Leona Cox (nee Peterson).
Loving father of Larry Cox (Kim) of Timmins and Kelly-Lynn Stefanic (Damir) of Wallaceburg.
Dear grandfather of Nigel Cox (Chrissy) and their son Axell, Steven Cox (Amy Legault), Samatha Cox, Devin Stefanic, Damian Stefanic and Julia Stefanic.
He is survived by his siblings; Cilda, Gertrude, Ralph and Chester.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents; Austin and Rita and by his sister Leona and Irene.
Bill was very active with the Royal Canadian Legion Br.88, he was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was also a service officer for the Royal Canadian Legion.
In his working years, Bill worked for Kidd Creek Mine, Hydro and retired after working 16 years at the Dome Mine.
Bill also loved spending time outdoors. He enjoyed Camping, fishing and hunting.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 9, 2018 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday May 8 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at
Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home
