Alice will always have a special place in my heart. I am very grateful for her patience with me as a student, especially with my atrocious sight reading. She was a wonderful person with a great sense of humour, and an excellent teacher, always encouraging and supportive. She inspired me to pursue my musical endeavours. Years later she still encouraged me to keep on with music and my career, always attentive and understanding. She was a true friend.
Alice was always there for my mother during the hard times, and I know that my mom, Angela, cherished their special friendship.
Deepest condolences to the family. We will all miss her.
