The family announces with sorrow her sudden passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at the age of 79.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Garry (2006) and by her loving son Kenneth (1963).
Loving mother of Rob MacKay (Jo) of Mississauga, Angie Rochefort (late Mike) and Donna Cecchini (Larry), both of Timmins.
Dear grandmother of Sean MacKay, Ann-Marie Truman (Cliff), Erin Burnell (Dan), Joshua Cecchini, Alex Cecchini, Jacob Rochefort and Diane Rochefort.
Great-grandmother of Sophia and Lilly.
She is survived by her sister Carol Wing (Milt), by her brother-in-law Claude Lemire and by her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Russell and Gwen Fairbrother and by her sister Nancy Lemire.
Mrs. MacKay loved watching her grandchildren participate in their sporting activities and was an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays.

A funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 1 pm.
Interment will follow at the Tisdale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at
