Obituary for Clifford Bilodeau

The family announces with great sorrow his peaceful passing after a long and courageous battle with cancer and Alzheimer’s on February 10, 2018 at the age of 89. Left to mourn is his loving wife of 70 years Jeannette Bilodeau (nee Doré). He leaves behind his loving children, Diane (Gil) Kelly, Gerry (Rollande) Bilodeau, Richard (Viviane) Bilodeau and Marc (Linda) Bilodeau. A loving grandpa to Kim (Mike) Piché, Kevin (Nicole) Kelly, Jason (Kelli) Kelly, Daena (Sam) Cooper, Lyndsay Bilodeau (Richard), Ashley Bilodeau, Michel (Stephanie) Bilodeau, Robert (Shannon) Bilodeau, Bryan (Ashley) Bilodeau and Cee-Jay (Ryan) Dubeau. Great-grandpa to Tyler and Riley Piché, Emilie, Kassandre and Kathleen Kelly, Emma, Page, Ethan, Christopher, Kaycee and Ella Bilodeau and Sage Cooper. Dear brother of Ruth, Theresa, Rita, Edna and Cyril. Survived by numerous sisters and brothers-in-law. He leaves behind the Doré family and will be dearly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his loving parents Antonio and Blanche, by his brothers Alex, Lorne, Oneil and by his sisters Eileen, Olive and May. Clifford was well known for his love of nature, fishing, hunting and for his love of mining. He was a true Blue “HABS” fan with eyes like Rocket Richard. The family would like to thank the staff on the Kamiskotia wing at the Extendicare for all their care and compassion shown throughout the years. Also, the family would like to express sincere thanks to all the doctors at the Timmins and District Hospital as well as the Timmins and District Hospice Center for their exceptional care. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday February 15, 2018 at St-Dominique Church with Father Alexis O’Lenga officiating. The family will receive friends at St-Dominique Church on Thursday February 15 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral and cremation services have been entrusted to
