Obituary for
Gwenyth Hohman
Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the Timmins and District Hospital on Monday January 15, 2018 at the age of 85. Gwen was a generous, gentle, kind, optimistic and selfless person. She was dearly loved and will be very sorely missed. Gwen loved flowers, gardening, baking, cooking, knitting, reading, animals, and nature. Beloved and cherished wife of 67 years to Frank Hohman of Timmins. Devoted and loving mother of William, Peter (Honora), Carl (Danielle), Richard and Walter (Heather). Dear grandmother of Kyle, Leah, Brody, Patrick and Conrad; great-grandmother of Evander, Adelaide, Raven and Maria. Survived by her brother Ken Jackson (Gina) and her sister Verna Linney (Russell). Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Sue Jackson and by her sister Patricia Proud (late Arnold).
If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Timmins and District Hospital for all the care and compassion shown to Gwen in her time of need. Respecting her wishes, a private funeral service was held.
