Angèle   Duchesne-Rivard
C’est avec grande tristesse que la famille annonce le décès d’Angèle Duchesne Rivard, survenu le mercredi, 17 janvier, 2018, à l'âge de 50 ans, après plusieurs années atteinte de la pénible maladie de Crohn's. Épouse adorée de Marc Rivard. Mère bien-aimée de William (Kimberly) Richardson et Justin Richardson. Grand-mère de Zachary Dundas, Rylan, Alivia, Taylor et Brayden Richardson. Fille bien-aimée de Gus et Huguette Duchesne et bru bienaimée de René et Rose-Hélène Rivard. Elle laisse aussi pour pleurer sa perte son frère Ben Duchesne (Julie) de Kanata, sa belle-soeur Liane (Steve) Loranger, sa bru Amanda Migneault, ses neveux Simon et Hugo, sa nièce Elli, ainsi que plusieurs oncles et tantes, cousins et cousines; notons spécialement sa précieuse tante Margo Galipeau-Godin. Prédécédée par sa soeur Julie (1968). Merci aux Docteurs Gus Adesanya et Lesley Griffiths pour leurs nombreuses années de service auprès d'Angèle. Aussi nous tenons à remercier Docteur Tammy Hopkins du Centre d'Hospice de l'hôpital de Timmins et du district pour sa compréhension et son professionnalisme. Les gardes-malades du Centre d'Hospice de notre hôpital démontrent un dévouement incomparable et une compassion extraordinaire; tout spécialement garde 'Chrissy' (notre ange) qui nous a traités comme famille; sans oublier gardes Vera, Anu et Johnna pour leur bonté et leur soutien.
Sincères remerciements dûs aux gens sympathiques et généreux des Soins Palliatifs Horizon pour leurs services.
Respectant son désir, l'incinération a eu lieu et une célébration privée de sa vie sera remise à plus tard. Les arrangements funéraires et d’incinération sont sous la direction de la Maison funéraire Lessard-Stephens.
Les dons faits à la Fondation de l'hôpital de Timmins et du district – Centre d’hospice seraient grandement appréciés. C'est avec grand courage, patience et la détermination de vivre, qu'Angèle envisagea chaque jour durant ces dernières années.

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Angèle Duchesne Rivard, beloved wife of Marc Rivard, on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at the age of 50, after many years of painful suffering with Crohn's disease. Loving mother of William Richardson (Kimberly) and Justin Richardson. Dear grandmother of Zachary Dundas, Rylan, Alivia, Taylor and Brayden Richardson. Beloved daughter of Gus and Huguette Duchesne and beloved daughter-in-law of René and Rose-Hélène Rivard. She also leaves behind her brother Ben Duchesne (Julie) from Kanata, her sister-in-law Liane Loranger (Steve) and her daughter-in-law Amanda Migneault. Also left to mourn are her nephews Simon and Hugo, her niece, Elli, many aunts, uncles, cousins; specially her precious aunt Margo Galipeau-Godin. She was predeceased by her sister Julie (1968). Thanks to Doctors Gus Adesanya and Lesley Griffiths for all their years of caring for Angèle. Also, the family would like to thank Doctor Tammy Hopkins from the Timmins and District Hospital Hospice Centre for her understanding and professionalism. The nurses from the Hospice Centre are unbelievably caring, devoted to the max and extraordinarily compassionate; specially nurse “Chrissy” (our angel) who treated us like family, and also nurses, Vera, Anu and Johnna for all their kindness and support.
Sincere thanks to the kind and generous people of Horizon Palliative Care for their much appreciated services.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Funeral and cremation services have been entrusted with LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home.
Donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation - Hospice Centre would be greatly appreciated.
It is with great courage, patience, and determination to live, that Angèle faced each and every day for the past few years.
“You are now in the arms of the angels! Peace be with you. You are finally home! We love you so much!”
