Obituary for Maurice Joron

Maurice  Joron
It is with great sorrow that we announce his passing on Thursday January 11, 2018 at the Golden Manor surrounded by his loving daughters. He was predeceased by his loving wife Pauline Joron (née Savard) in 1980. He leaves behind his daughters Louise (Robert Sauvé) of Iroquois Falls,
Carmen (Jim Pothier) of South Porcupine and Sylvie Joron (Andy Perron) of Porcupine;
his cherished grandchildren Ryan Sauvé (Kayla Lauzon), Bradly Sauvé, Jenna and Caitlyn Pothier,
Brandon Purdy, Abigail Hopkins (her father Dave); his brother Philippe (Hélène Savard) of Val Gagné, his sisters Denise (Paul Michaud) of Matheson, Jeannette Chartrand (Joe Mayhew) of Timmins and Rollande (“Bob” Robert Seguin) of Timmins; his many in-laws from the Savard family from Timmins, Gogama, Sudbury and area as well as many nieces, nephews and close family friends.
He was also predeceased by his parents Thomas Joron 1982, Yvonne Dumoulin 1987, his brother Ernest 1994, his sisters Laurette Ram 2005 and Jeannine Piché 2017, his parents-in-law Lionel Savard 1988 and Délice Chartier 1982. Maurice was born on December 6, 1942 in Timmins. He enjoyed his life on his farm in Val Gagne with his 3 daughters. His passion was working outside and always puttering around in his garage with his tools. He truly enjoyed riding his tractor and playing his accordion.
A very special THANK YOU to the Golden Manor Staff for your excellent service and care over the past 7 years. Cremation has taken place. Respecting his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Maurice is finally reunited with his wife Pauline, after 37 years apart. His cremated remains will be buried by her side at a private family committal service this summer at Timmins Memorial Cemetery.
Cremation and funeral services are in the care of
LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home

Remembrance donations to the Golden Manor – Palliative Care would be greatly appreciated.
