The family announces with great sorrow his death on Saturday December 23, 2017 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 80 years. He was predeceased by his wife Nora Naveau in 2004, his son Paul Arsenault in 1999, his sister Lorraine Arsenault-Langlois in 2002 and by his brothers Aurel Arsenault in 2007 and Paul Arsenault. He is survived by his children Suzanne Labelle (Lionel), Richard Arsenault (Linda Madore), Daniel Arsenault (Yvonne), Ray Nadeau (Nicole Parson) and Marcel Nadeau, his step-children Angus Naveau, Tanya Elliott (Mark) and Patrick Naveau; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and by his sisters Sr. Lucille Arsenault and Irène Arsenault. Respecting his wishes cremation will take place followed by a graveside service at the Val Gagne Cemetery next summer. Funeral and cremation services have been entrusted to LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME. Remembrance donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
