The family announces with great sorrow her peaceful death at the Extendicare Timmins on Friday October 20, 2017 at the age of 100 years. She was predeceased by her husband Lee Kerash in 1993. She is survived by her daughter Marjorie Henke (husband-Andreas) of Toronto, her son Douglas Kerash (wife-Suzanne) of Timmins; her grandchildren Adrian Henke and Paul Kerash; her brother Norman Barnhart , numerous nieces and nephews and by her special friend Gisele Dubroy. She was also predeceased by her brothers Albert, Leslie, Earl and Gordon Barnhart. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday October 24, 2017 at 1pm. Interment at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the Lessard-Stephens Reception Centre. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11am to 1pm at LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME. Remembrance donations to the CNIB or the Timmins and District Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
