Obituary for Brent "Dusty" Telford
The family announces with sorrow his death on Saturday July 8, 2017 at the age of 76 years. He is survived by his sisters Joan Telford and Shirley Allin (Fred); his brother Roy Telford, his brother-in-law John Duthie; his nieces and nephews Randy Telford, Wendy Telford-McNulty (Bryan), Jennifer Telford, Karen Allin and Scott Duthie (Sasha); his great-nieces Bailee and Kaelyn; his great-nephew Griffyn and by his longtime friends Barry Martin and Mitch Labonte. He was predeceased by his parents Elmer and Irene Telford, his sister Brenda Duthie, his sister-in-law Sandra Telford and by his nephew Brent Duthie. Brent was better known as “DUSTY”. He will be remembered for his kindness and thoughtfulness towards both his immediate and extended family, as well as for his generosity and many contributions to various charities and the church. Brent was a man of few words, however when he did speak it was with wisdom and sincerity. His dedication to his work led him to have a long and fulfilling career at the Dome Mine to which he returned after a two weeks retirement. Brent will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed with his presence in their lives. Remembrance donations to the Timmins Pentecostal Church or to the Timmins and Women in Crisis or to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held on Friday August 25, 2017 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. A reception will follow in the Lessard-Stephens Reception Centre. The family will receive friends on Friday August 25 from 10-11 am at LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME. Online condolences or donations can be made at www.lessardstephens.com
