Obituary for Dave Donovan
Dave passed away peacefully after a short, courageous battle with cancer. Left to mourn are his wife of 47 years, Patricia (née Kelly), his sons, Shawn (Tiffany Clouthier) and Derek (Josée née Lefebvre), as well as his grandchildren; Shaylin, Jayden and Evan.
He leaves behind his brothers; Raymond (Rejeanne), Jacques (Denise), Albert Jr. (Nicole), and his sisters; Betty Tremblay (Terry), and Lucille Nadon (Ron). He also leaves behind his in-laws, Doris Morrissette (Leo), Doreen Blais, Norman Kelly (Agathe), Shirley Picard (Paul), Lily Labelle, Marlene Godin, Joyce Kelly, Gail Venneri (Sergio), and Colleen Franq (Mike).
He is predeceased by his parents Albert and Anita (née Gravel), his sister Pauline Lavallée, and his in-laws; Michael and Bernadette Kelly, Auguste Lavallée, Marcel Blais, Paul Labelle, George Godin, and Gene and Nicole Kelly.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Diabetes Association, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
The family wishes to sincerely thank the Timmins and District Hospital Hospice staff for the wonderful care, compassion, and support given during this difficult time.
A memorial service will be held on Friday July 14 at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel.
The family will receive friends on Friday July 14 from 12-2pm at
Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home
