Obituary for Gary Quinn

Gary  Quinn
With great sadness, and a profound sense of loss, we announce Gary’s death on April 7, 2017, at Extendicare.
Left to grieve, are his wife, Carol Quinn (McCusker), daughter, Kelly Quinn-Fraser (Jeremy), their daughters, Michaela, Mary Kate and Molly, daughter, Traci Quinn and her son Braedan, son, D’Arcy Quinn (Nancy) and their sons, Conor, Brian and Daniel.
He also leaves behind his sisters, Norma McCague (John), Margo Young (Rick), brothers, Franklin (Bev), Terry (Donna), Robert (Joanne), D’Arcy (Marielle), Des (Dale), and Michael (Joanne), sisters and brothers-in law, Gail Arbing, Susan and Marc Theriault, and Brian McCusker, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, Harvey and Jennie, sister Maureen and brother Brian.
Gary’s outgoing personality, kindness, and sense of humour, enabled him to connect easily with people, at work, on the golf course, in the neighbourhood, and especially while volunteering in pastoral care at the hospital for many years.
The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am, on Wednesday, April 12th at St. Anthony of Padua Cathedral. Interment will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 11th, from2-4 and 7-9 pm, at Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Timmins Food Bank or The Timmins District Hospital Foundation, would be appreciated
