Obituary for Gilberte Burdick (Desilets)
The family announces with sorrow her passing at the Timmins and District Hospital, on Wednesday March 22, 2017, at the age of 85.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Alexander (2004).
Loving mother of Florence Burdick of Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC, Diane Savard (Pierre) of Aylmer, QC, Helen Pulice (John) of Timmins, Liliane Burdick of Timmins and Sue Best (William Snyder) of Sarnia.
Dear grandmother of Derek and Matthew Pulice, Patrick Savard, Nathan and Natasha Best and great-grandmother of Madison Pulice, Ciara Pulice, Olivia Pulice and Wesley Hynes.
She is predeceased by her parents Philippe and Corine Desilets and by her siblings Rose-Anna, Philias, Alfred, Henri-Paul, Domenique, Ida, Claire and Jacqueline.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Rody and Dr. Voogjarv as well as all the nursing staff at Timmins and District Hospital.
A private service for immediate family was held on Friday March 24, 2017 in the funeral home chapel. Interment followed at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery.
Donations made to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation will be greatly appreciated.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home
