La famille annonce avec tristesse son décès le mardi 14 mars 2017 à l’Hôpital de Timmins et du district à l’âge de 94 ans. Époux bien-aimé d’Armande Rivard (née Talbot).
Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : René Rivard (Rose-Hélène) de Timmins, Madeleine Ciccone (Anthony) de Timmins, Noëlla Thibault (Jim Blair) de Timmins, Denis Rivard de Timmins, Micheline Pigeon (Dean) de Scarborough, Réal Rivard (Peggy) de Waterford, Suzanne Rivard de Timmins and Bernard “Bernie” Rivard (Kim) de Timmins.
Cher grand-papa de 22 petits-enfants, 15 arrière-petits-enfants ( 1 autre bientôt) et 5 arrière-arrière-petits-enfants.
Prédécédé par son fils Gilles (1971), ses sœurs Yvette Langis, Gisèle McClure, Yollande St.Pierre et son frère Raymond Rivard.
Un service funéraire privé pour la famille aura lieu dans la chapelle de la

Loving father of René Rivard (Rose-Hélène) of Timmins, Madeleine Ciccone (Anthony) of Timmins, Noëlla Thibault (Jim Blair) of Timmins, Denis Rivard of Timmins, Micheline Pigeon (Dean) of Scarborough, Réal Rivard (Peggy) of Waterford, Suzanne Rivard of Timmins and Bernard “Bernie” Rivard (Kim) of Timmins.
Dear grandfather of 22 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren (1 on the way) and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by his son Gilles (1971) and by his sisters Yvette Langis, Gisèle McClure, Yollande St.Pierre and his brother Raymond Rivard.
A private family funeral service will be held in the chapel of
