Condolence: So sorry to hear of Dons passing. I worked off and on with Don from 1971 until his retirement. I so much enjoyed his enthusiasm for his work and the people that worked with him. I was facinated at how he took on projects and completed them to perfection. His wood carvings were certainly an example of that. He had the respect of all wo worked with him as well as those who needed his advice. The local Timmins trappers spoke very highly of him. Don will surley be fondly remembered by all. God Bless

Condolence: Sincere condolences to Don's Family. I worked in Timmins in the early 70's and spent a lot of time in Don's office at 896 Riverside Dr. Don, Bill and Walter provided lots of interesting conversations. Don always was receptive and helpful to a new Forestry Tech.
Those were the "good old days"!
Rest in peace Don. It was a pleasure to have known you.

Condolence From: Don Weltz
Condolence: My deepest sympathy to the family. I worked in Timmins in 1972 as a deputy CO and met and worked for Don during that fall. I liked Don and thought he was great supervisor and a down to earth guy. I was surprised that when I spoke to him several months ago, some 45 years later and asked him to join my retired CO email list he remembered me and we had a little chuckle over why. He will be missed but he is remembered.
