It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Adrien announce his passing on Sunday, February 19, 2017, at the Timmins District Hospital at the age of 95. He will forever be in the hearts of his wife Joan (Belair) of 64 years and his children Andre (Sandy) of Ottawa, Diane Badger (John) of Ottawa, Carol Ducharme (Don) of Timmins, Pauline Paquette (Roger) of Timmins, Lise Laneville (Mark Turnbull) of Ottawa, Denis (Cindy) of Ottawa, Nicole Harvey (Perry) of Timmins. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Melanie, Ryan, Stephen, Brent (Alia), David (Jessica), Sasha (Jean Guindon), Todd, Kim (Reid Porter), Eric (Angele), Joelle (Andy), Jessica (Matt), Ally, Zack, Pete, Emilie, as well as his great-grandchildren Cayden, Paige, Brandon, Wyatt, Jackson, Quinn, Blythe, Nicolas, Ana, Ella, Luca, Gwenyth. Pre-deceased by 6 brothers and 6 sisters. He will be missed by many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Adrien was a devoted family man, an avid Hab fan, and loved his fishing days. The family would like to thank Dr. Jean Cote for the years of excellent care and the staff at the TDH. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday February 22, 2017 in the funeral home chapel. A reception will follow at the Lessard-Stephens Reception Centre. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 noon to 2 pm at
