Obituary for Thérèse Coutu (Lapalice)
The family announces with great sorrow her death on Friday February 3, 2017 at the Golden Manor at the age of 86. Predeceased by her husband Maurice Coutu (2002). Loving mother of Diane (Lucien Crepeault) of St. Calixte, Que., Daniel Coutu (Rocklanne Brochu) of Timmins, Ronald Coutu (Nicole Caron) of Gatineau, Que., Pauline Coutu of Ottawa, Michel Coutu of Chateauguay, Que., Rosaire Coutu (Louise Morin) of Hearst, Carole Coutu of Queensland, N.S., Louise (Gerald Joa) of Ottawa. Beloved mother-in-law of Marcel Turgeon of Hearst. Dear grandmother of Lynn Crepeault, Patrick Crepeault (Sylvie), Stéphane Coutu, Marcel (Chantal) Coutu, Nathalie Coutu (Alain), Audrey Asselin, Michael Asselin, Ginette Coutu, Valérie Coutu (Mathieu Gagnon), Joel Coutu, Chantal Coutu (Jason Lalonde), Pascal Turgeon (Sylvie), Martin Turgeon (Vicky), Rachel Dyer (Myles), Phillip Dyer, Emily Foster (Russell), Mark Foster (Allysa), Erika Foster and Nathan Joa. Dear great-grandmother of 26 and great-great-grandmother of one. She will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her 2 favorite dogs Caline and Dagle. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Anna Lapalice, her parents-in-law Joseph and Anna Coutu, her daughter Rita Turgeon, her daughter-in-law Carole Coutu, her grandson Alain Coutu, her great-granddaughter Kayla Coutu, as well as her siblings Alphonse Lapalice, Alexina Bastien, Albina Caron, Elena Hainse, Ida Garneau, Joseph Lapalice et Noé Lapalice. The family would like to thank the staff at the Golden Manor for their excellent care and compassion. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 7, 2017 at 10:30 a.am. at St-Joseph parish. Interment at St. Laurent Cemetery in Ramore. Remembrance donations to the Golden Manor or to a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2- 4 and 7-9 p.m. at the LESSARD-STEPHENS
