Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gloria Smith can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Gloria Smith (Richards)

Gloria Smith (Richards)
The family announces with sorrow her passing on Sunday January 15, 2017 at the Timmins and District Hospital.
Predeceased by her parents Stanley and Gwen Richards and her 3 sisters Norma (Roy), Jean (Ross), Patricia (Kidd).
Survived by her loving husband Alex of 62 years and their 3 children Stuart (Lori), Mark (Cindy), and Darlene Wojtczak (Derek) and her 5 grandchildren Shelby, Sabrina, and Liam Smith and Adam and Tommy Wojtczak . Also survived by her brother Stanley Richards, sisters in law Kay Smith, Mary Smith, and Ann Darke as well as many nieces and nephews.
Gloria's greatest joy in life was her family. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, reading, dancing, playing cribbage, completing cross word puzzles and she was a fastidious housekeeper. She was always neat and tidy about her appearance. She had a great sense of humour and loved to laugh. Her legacy lives on in the beautiful family that she has raised.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Golden Manor and the Timmins and District Hospital for their excellent and compassionate care.
As per Gloria's wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will take place at a later date.
The family would graciously accept donations in her honour to a charity of your choice.
