La famille annonce avec tristesse son décès le vendredi 16 décembre 2016 à Horizon Santé-Nord à Sudbury, à l’âge de 77 ans. Époux bien-aimé d’Anita Paquin (née Cousineau); cher père de Laurie-Ann Kichak (Kevin) de Val Caron et feue Cindy Paquin (1997); grand-papa adoré d’Alyssa et Alana Tremblay. Il laisse aussi dans le deuil sa sœur Lucette Paquin (Armand Dubois) de Gatineau, QC, ses frères Jacques Paquin (Huguette Tresseault) de St-Jérôme et Claude Paquin (Monique) de Vancouver; ses beaux-frères et ses belles-soeurs Claude Legendre d’Amos, Rita Morin (feu Roland) de Sudbury, Michel Cousineau (Denise) de Timmins et Ginette Perron, ainsi que plusieurs nièces et neveux. Prédécédé par sa soeur Denise Paquin-Legendre. La messe des funérailles aura lieu à 11 h à la Paroisse St-Dominique le mardi 20 décembre 2016. L’inhumation suivra au Cimetière mémorial de Timmins. La famille recevra les amis le lundi 19 décembre de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h à la Maison funéraire Lessard-Stephens Les dons commémoratifs faits à la Fondation canadienne du rein ou à Horizon Santé-Nord Unité de néphrologie seront grandement appréciés.
The family announces with sorrow his passing on Friday December 16, 2016 at Health Sciences North in Sudbury, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Anita Paquin (nee Cousineau). Loving father of Laurie-Ann Kichak (Kevin) of Val Caron and late Cindy Paquin (1997).Cherished grandfather of Alyssa and Alana Tremblay. Dear brother of Lucette Paquin (Armand Dubois) of Gatineau, QC, Jacques Paquin (Huguette Tresseault) of St-Jérôme and Claude Paquin (Monique) of Vancouver. Dear brother-in-law of Claude Legendre of Amos, Rita Morin (late Roland) of Sudbury, Michel Cousineau (Denise) of Timmins and Ginette Perron. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Denise Paquin-Legendre. A funeral service will be held at St-Dominique Church on Tuesday December 20, 2016 at 11 am. Interment will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday December 19 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home. Donations made to the Kidney Foundation or to Health Sciences North Nephrology Unit will be greatly appreciated.
