Obituary for Kathleen Hannah (Backhouse)
The family announces with sorrow her passing on Saturday November 19, 2016, at the Golden Manor, at the age of 89.
Predeceased by her husband Kenneth Gerald Hannah in 1978 and her daughter Karen Goldstone in 1996.
Loving mother of Gerry Hannah (Beverlee) of Timmins and mother-in-law of Tom Goldstone.
Cherished grandmother of Daryl Goldstone (Christina), Darren Goldstone, Crystal Goldstone (Darren Duquette), Melanie Hannah (Wayne Perreault), Tracy Hannah (Daryl Roy) and Corey Whitehead.
Dear great-grandmother of Ryan Fournel, Hannah, Owen and Zoe Whitehead, Hailey and Jacob Goldstone and Brooke Duquette.
She will be lovingly remembered by the sister she never had Greta Napier (Guy).
Predeceased by her parents Hilda and Richard Backhouse.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the nursing staff at the Golden Manor for the exceptional care Kathleen received.
Kathleen worked at S.S. Kresge's for over 30 years . She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 88. She enjoyed traveling and she had a love for country music, namely Patsy Cline.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday November 23, 2016 at 2pm in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday November 22 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at
