Obituary for Mary Elizabeth Rheaume
The family announces with great sorrow her death on Saturday October 22, 2016 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 90 years. Survived by her son John Rheaume Jr., her granddaughter Abby Lynn Kean, her niece Vicki-Lynne Wing (John), her great-nephews David Wing (Chantal) and Dan Wing (Valerie) and their children Tyler, Jayden and Bella. Also survived by many close friends from Timmins, Sault Ste. Marie and Calgary. Predeceased by her husband John Rheaume in 1992, her father Arthur Irwin (1972); her mother Myrtle Irwin (1982); her sister Genie Duguay (2008) and by her brother-in-law William Duguay (1983). The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors who attended and took such great care of Aunt Bobbi while in Palliative Care at Timmins and District Hospital. Mary was in World War 2 with the C.W.A.C. and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 88. She volunteered for 25 years with the Special Olympics. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11am in the funeral home chapel with Msgr Pat Lafleur officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 am to 11 am at LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME.
