Obituary for Jeannette Jodouin (Jolicoeur)
The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Wednesday, August 10th, 2016 at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Gérard Jodouin (1983), loving mother of Thérèse (late Bob) Hadley of Arnprior; Juliette (Dominic) Branca of Montvale New-Jersey; Huguette (late Léon) Laforge; John (Francine) Jodouin; late Charlie (Jeanne) Jodouin; Paulette (Gilbert) Nadeau; Michel (Huguette) Jodouin all of Timmins and her step daughter Darquise (Ti-mousse). Cherished grandmother to Cecilia, Jeannette, Dominic Jr., Lorraine, Daniel, Lynn, Sylvie, Jacques, Julie, Kim, Marc N., Richard N., Marc H. ,Richard , Pierre and Jennifer. Jeannette was loved and blessed by her 39 great- grandchildren and her 14 great-great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Jacqueline Trudel of Kirkland Lake, step sister Lucille Quesnel Godin from London, Ontario and her long time best friend Marguerite Major. Predeceased by her parents, Wilfred and Delia Jolicoeur, her daughter Diane, sons Robert, Paul and grandson Dereck, as well as, her 2 brothers, 3 sisters, 1 step brother, 1 step sister, 2 sisters in laws and her good friend Lilian Bint. Jeannette was a long time member of Les dames St-Dominique. The family would like to thank Dr. Paquette, Dr. Kim and the staff at the Timmins and District Hospital for their kindness and caring ways towards our dearly departed Mother. The family will receive friends on Sunday August 14, 2016 from 2pm to 4 pm and 7pm to 9pm at LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at St-Dominique Church on Monday, August 15th, 2016 at 11 am. Interment will follow at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations to the Alzheimer Society or a Charity of your Choice would be greatly appreciated
