VIENO, Henry
1937 – 2016
The family announces with great sorrow his sudden passing on Tuesday March 22, 2016 at his home in Timmins. Henry is the beloved husband of Gladys (nee Vallier) for 57 years. Loving father of Aurel (Henrietta) of Timmins, Marcel (Eija) of Cambridge, ON, and pre-deceased by his beautiful and loving daughter Lucy Vieno. Cherished Pepere and Grandpa to Melissa, Kevin, Sarah, Julie, Amanda, Kayla, Adam, Jacob, Michael and Debbie. He was also great-grandpa to 4 wonderful great-grandchildren. He is survived by his sisters Cecile LeBlanc of Ottawa, Rose Demers (Fern) of Hamner, and Agnes (Pierre) of South Porcupine, as well as his brothers Daniel (Helene) and Larry (Sylvie) of Timmins. He is predeceased by his parents Martin and Jeanne. Henry was a hard working, hard playing man in his younger years, but was stricken with Multiple Sclerosis at a very young age. It slowed him down, but he never let it stop him. He has now joined his lovely daughter who left him far too early in life. Henry, affectionately nicknamed ‘petit loup’ will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 26 at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends on Friday March 25, from 2- 4 pm and from 7-9 pm at
