1935 – 2015
The family announces the passing of Mr. Ronald Edmonds on Wednesday August 26, 2015 at the Timmins and District Hospital.
Cherished husband of 57 years to Shirley Edmonds. Devoted father of Brian Edmonds (Cristina), Robert Edmonds (Danica), David Edmonds (Cathy), Ann Edmonds and Roslyn Gauthier (Thomas). Loving grandfather of Michael (Kristen), Mark, Thomas and Matthew Edmonds and Keegan and Emily Gauthier. Beloved brother of Sister Fay Edmonds. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Lillas Edmonds. Ronald started his career as a teacher for the Timmins Roman Catholic Separate School where he later became principal as well as superintendent. An avid outdoors man, he loved nothing more then spending quality time with his family at their cottage. He will be missed, but never forgotten.
Funeral service will be held at St. Anthony’s of Padua Cathedral on Saturday August 29 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday August 28 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at
