Condolence: Howie Kyle - he was obviously so much to so many people, son, brother, partner, father, grandfather(!), uncle, -in-law, friend, athlete - stopped too soon, jokester, mentor, a kind spirit who was unafraid to share - to offer to help - to enjoy every day. Everyone who knew Howie was touched by him in some way and will continue to carry that touch - that kindness forever in their hearts.
Free of the restrictions that he endured, no doubt Howie is enjoying the wind in his hair as he skates down the wing trying to avoid the patented Hebert hipcheck...and waiting his turn at bat to connect with the elusive slider...that's how I choose to remember him.
Everyone will keep their memories close at hand, ready to share with everyone...bringing the memory of the infectious smile and laugh...forcing a smile upon our own faces.
