Obituary for Myrtle Ormaetta Ironside
The family announces with sorrow her death in North Bay on Wednesday January 22, 2014 at home at the age of 93 years. Predeceased by her husband Hubert Ironside (1992) and by her daughter Ann Cooke (2000). Beloved mother of Glen Ironside (Marjory) of Timmins, Kenneth Ironside (Fran) of Timmins, Edwin Ironside (Selena) of North Bay and Marlene Ironside (Butch Miller) of North Bay; cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren; also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Monday January 27, 2014 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. Remembrance donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation will be greatly appreciated.
