The family announces with sorrow her passing at home on Tuesday July 3, 2012, at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Clarence Edwards, Chapleau, ON. Loving mother of Denise Mercer, Deborah Caby (Husband Steve), Desiree Osmond (Husband Dave) and Morris Caby. Loving grandmom of Mike, Kimberly, Selina, Chris, Shannon, Magie and MJ. Cherished great-grandmom to several great-grandchildren. Very dear sister of Felix Gour, late Robert Gour, Bella Robinson, Rachelle Servini, Loverne Kelly and Armande “Amie” Vaillancourt. Predeceased by her loving mother Fernande Gour (Vaillancourt). Shirley has been a hard-working woman all of her life. She worked side by side with her husband building a large cabin be Servise Lake near Chapleau, a place which all family members enjoyed from time to time. She dabbled in a multitude of creative hobbies, the best of which was crocheting, making veritable masterpieces of lace work. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Following her wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral. Cremation has taken place. Remembrance donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society will be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home in Timmins
